Crown Sport Nutrition’s BCAA 2:1:1 Instant is a powder containing leucine, isoleucine, and valine. It’s very easy to take thanks to its instant dissolution and pleasant lemon flavor. These essential amino acids make up approximately one-third of the protein in skeletal muscle. They are also considered essential because the human body cannot produce them and they must be obtained through diet.

Research to date concludes that consuming BCAAs along with carbohydrates before, during, and after exercise has positive impacts on supporting muscle protein synthesis, helping to regenerate glycogen, delaying the onset of fatigue, and maintaining mental function during prolonged exertion. Furthermore, positive effects have been observed in mitigating muscle soreness and the loss of strength that occurs after intense training sessions.
To enhance performance before and during exercise, BCAAs should be taken with a sports drink such as Isodrink & Energy. To aid recovery, they can be consumed with carbohydrates, although we recommend using a more comprehensive recovery drink like 3:1 PRO Recovery in this case.
Mix approximately 7g (one level scoop) in 340ml of water or other beverages. Recommendations: As an extra boost, take one serving before or during physical activity. As a recovery enhancer, take one serving immediately after physical activity.
